Content We Liked: 26th February, 2023

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

A downright whimsical entry to start us off this week, with some off-kilter Gnomes and their Gian- regular ass dude prisoner. A wonderfully kooky piece with some beautiful vibrancy and depth to the paintwork.

GodDAMN, still pictures can’t do this one justice. Just a fully tricked mecha the size of a small child. Nothin’ fancy, no biggie. Gunpla enthusiasts continue to see our puny efforts and push the bar even higher.

Pride flag armies are becoming a delightful trend in the hobbysphere, and it’s examples like this full on Galaxy’s worth of Mechs that really stand out with the flag’s design adjusted to cleverly work around each Mech’s chassis. Transphobes will be LRM’d from across the map.

We’ll never pass up a chance for Juan to dunk on us with mindbogglingly simple but incredible painting tips, this time a head-slappingly easy way to achieve a glowing coil effect.

The Warsinger graces CWL again with their latest creation, a diorama of the last moments of the Fall of Cadia. A beautiful slice of one of the most tantalising plot-hooks that’s been dangling over us for two editions now. Trazyn must have really held B when he was catching himself that Creed.

https://eavy-archive.com/

Coming to us from the Infernal Brush Discord community, ‘Eavy Archive aims to be a repository to store and reference every recipe and method used by the ‘Eavy Metal painting team to get as close to that box art look as possible. It’s already bursting with some fantastic schemes and we’re excited to see it grow.
